IconAuthor Video For Windows Driver Release Notes
*************************************************
IconAuthor's Video for Windows driver allows you to use the IconAuthor
video icons to load and play Video for Windows (AVI) files. This
driver (IAMCIAVI.DRV) is based on Microsoft's MCI driver for Video
for Windows. VIdeo for WIndows must be installed on the system
to use the IconAuthor Video for Windows driver.
Video for Windows and ActionMedia II
************************************
IconAuthor has two drivers that can be used with the Intel ActionMedia II
board. These drivers are based on MCI drivers that support the
ActionMedia II board. One MCI driver is the Intel DVI Multimedia driver
for Windows. The other is the Video for Windows MCI driver used with the
Intel INDEO Video driver (INDEO Codec).
The preferred method is to use Video for Windows with Intel's
Indeo Video Driver.
These release notes cover the use of IconAuthor's Video for
Windows driver.
